Memories and Condolences ...

I was a caregiver at Spring Valley Assisted
Living Residence where she lived. Marjorie always had a big smile when ever someone would walk into her room. She loved to sing. I remember everyday I would see her she would sing me a song in her room and also when I walked her to the dinning room. She would always be singing. She enjoyed the church services, the sing-a-longs and the musicians that would come & play.
She had a wonderful voice so it did not
matter to me that she would sing the same
songs over again! She loved to look through
her pictures everyday and show me her
pictures of her family! I will miss her so
much. she was a joy to spend with every
day!!! |

March 01, 2014 Randy.... Sad to hear about your mom. She was a great and Classy Lady. All I have is fond memories of the old days when all of us used to gathered at your house. Those were great days. Get in touch with me if you get the urge. There is a lot to catch up on... All my best wishes...Rick |
March 04, 2014 I was her caregiver and med
passer at Gateway Living the night that she
passed. She was a remarkable woman that knew
how to brighten up your day. She always
would tell me how beautiful when I was
getting her up for the day after a long hard
night. Then at the breakfast table she would
sing "Take me out to the ball game." She is
be very missed and was loved.

Although I was just a little girl most times
I was around my Aunt Margie, I do have some
strong impressions of her. She was
beautiful, classy, and flamboyant. Her
personality was quite a contrast from her
sister Ruth, my mother, who was practical
and more quiet. I had five sisters and she
had no daughters, so we were the lucky
recipients of her kindness--beautiful
evening gowns. I can still picture them in
my mind: lovely, flowing chiffon in
turquoise and white with beaded trim. I
believe they were worn by my older sisters
to dances. I enjoyed them dressing up in
them in later years. I love this tribute. It
is most touching to hear her own voice
reading the poem bidding us goodbye. |
