The staff  at Gateway Living in Springfield, who were very fond of Marjorie, were kind enough to sign her photo album with loving thoughts of remembrance. Those thoughts have been recreated here ....

Here are a couple of my favorite Marjorie stories I hope you enjoy:
- We had a service come in to get a chest x-ray.  The mobile x-ray technician said, "OK. Now stay real still like we are taking a "picture." and
Marjorie looked puzzled for a moment then began posing as if it were a photo shoot (smile). She brought her fist up under her chin, tilted
her head to the side, and gave a big beautiful Marjorie smile. She continued to change poses. I can't remember exactly now, I think  I was
laughing too hard (smile). She was always ready for her close-up
- Another time she had been washing her hands in the bathroom. Just when we were starting to wonder what was taking her so long, she
came out of the bathroom with a new addition to her outfit. She had taken toilet paper and made a bow tie around her neck as if it were one of her beautiful scarves. She was so proud of what she had made, it was histerical!

These are just two of the countless memories I have of our sweet Marjorie. She brought so much life to our house. She lit up every room she entered. Her beautiful spirit and smiling face will never be forgotten. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for this special woman. She has a place in all of our hearts & will be missed incredibly.  - Much love, Alena
